Temperature dependent Magnetization and Remanent Magnetization in Pseudo-binary x(Fe2TiO4)-(1-x)(Fe3O4)(0.30

چکیده
In this work we present preliminary results on magnetization and remanence of synthetic pseudo-binary x(Fe2TiO4)-(1x)(Fe3O4)(0.30<x<1.00). Magnetic characterization was performed at temperature ranges from 100 K up to 400 K. The final objective is to characterize the magnetic response as a function of temperature in order to foresight the future magnetic measurements of the magnetometer included into Met-Net mission to Mars. Samples present ferromagnetic behavior with Néel temperatures above the minimum Martian temperature. An increased remanence for sample with x=0.65 has been measured possibly originated by pinning mechanism which might offer a partial explanation as to the crustal magnetism of Mars.

In this research the synthesis of [Co(Salen)(PPh3)(H2O)]4[Fe(CN)6] and [Co(Salophen)(PPh3)(H2O)]4[Fe(CN)6] schiff base complexes was reported. Co3O4/CoFe2O4 magnetic nanoparticles were prepared by calcination of these complexes at 500, 550 and 600°C. Precursor complexes were identified by FT-IR and UV-Vis spectroscopy and their thermal behavior was studied via TG/DTA. Nanomagnetic samples were ...
متن کاملPhagocytic properties and organelle motility of pulmonary macrophages from smokers and nonsmokers estimated in vitro by magnetometric means.
Monolayer cultures of pulmonary macrophages (PM) from 11 smokers (S) and 9 nonsmokers (NS) were incubated with submicrometric ferromagnetic Fe3O4 particles for one hour. After magnetization by an externally applied pulse magnetic field, the aligned Fe3O4 particles, located in the phagosomes and secondary lysosomes of the PM, emanated a remanent magnetic field which decayed with time. The initia...
متن کاملShape and Size-Dependent Magnetic Properties of Fe3O4 Nanoparticles Synthesized Using Piperidine
In this article, we proposed a facile one-step synthesis of Fe3O4 nanoparticles of different shapes and sizes by co-precipitation of FeCl2 with piperidine. A careful investigation of TEM micrographs shows that the shape and size of nanoparticles can be tuned by varying the molarity of piperidine. XRD patterns match the standard phase of the spinal structure of Fe3O4 which confirms the formation...
متن کاملVisualized effect of oxidation on magnetic recording fidelity in pseudo-single-domain magnetite particles
Magnetite (Fe3O4) is an important magnetic mineral to Earth scientists, as it carries the dominant magnetic signature in rocks, and the understanding of its magnetic recording fidelity provides a critical tool in the field of palaeomagnetism. However, reliable interpretation of the recording fidelity of Fe3O4 particles is greatly diminished over time by progressive oxidation to less magnetic ir...
متن کاملThe effect of increasing of iron concentration on the physical properties of zinc-iron ferrite nanoparticles
In this research, zinc-iron ferrite nanoparticles were synthesized by thermal treatment method. The presence of crystalline phases by X-ray diffraction (XRD) was determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD), which confirmed the presence of crystalline phases in all nanoparticles. The particle size and morphology of the nanoparticles were obtained using Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESE...
